March for Women

Women Powerful ladies Let us all work together We have ideas ~LWB Butterfly 🦋 This month we honor women. It’s Women’s History Month. It’s time to celebrate one another. You can do it the way you want. Women have been known for wanting equity. We are still fighting for that and this year I am proud to say that we have a woman Vice President serving our country. Thank you, Kamala Harris! I would like to salute my mother for being an outstanding woman against all the odds that she had to face in her life. She was not worldwide known, however, she was known by her community for being a caring, nurturing, and devoted teacher for over two decades. I am an educator today because of her. My mother taught me to always represent myself like a lady. She is very inspirational in a lot of things that I do. Mama, I Love You ❤️. I have a lot of strong women in my family who have shown me how to walk in my faith, effectively use my intelligence, nurture and support my family. I also would like ...

Self-Love: What does it mean and look like to really LOVE you?

Don't accept anything but LOVE.....   Self-Love It is personal It’s the essential act It distinguishes you ~LWB Butterfly 🦋 When I think of Self-Love it tells me who a person is. It shows how to intone a person is with themselves. It allows you to tell others your trueness, standards, values, and boundaries. Your focus is not selfish, it’s self-worth. You are your person and will not seek approval from anyone. You are not arrogant, instead, you are confident in who you are and what you want. It’s okay to be interested in who you are and what you desire. If you don’t have Self-Worth others' opinions will matter more than yours. You are the essential part of life and you are the only one who can show the works of your abilities. Self-Love has no negative vibes attached to it. It stands firm, humble, and bold at all times. If you have not found it, it’s time you start to evaluate yourself. We can’t attract love if we don’t have it first. Be the magnet that pulls in in...

The Result: 2021| Even & Odd

The Result: 2021| Even & Odd Without darkness, Light cannot appear ~LWB Butterfly 🦋 You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take one step at a time ~Martin Luther King, Jr Look at life as not being a positive or negative outcome instead focus on the aspects of the results from life. The result of what life will show you this year is far greater than the fear it tries to bring. We must not be devastated by negative (odd) situations; because all we need to do is take the negatives and turn them into positive (even) situation. 2021 number has an even and odd number in it. Therefore, it could show us good and challenging situations, but we should consider not allowing anything to distract us from achieving our goals. I have learned that life is a teachable moment. I did things that I didn’t even know I could do. I faced situations that I did not know I could handle. I am still here to share my story with the world and that is amazing. This new year is not about a R...
12 insightful things about 2020 This has been a very difficult year for the world. No one is exempt. We have faced things together and apart. Life has caused us to see things differently and to put things in perspective.  I dealt with a medical condition and had to learn how to handle it positively so I would not be discouraged.  We have to find ways to get through traumatic situations and experiences.  In lieu of all the sadness that continues to surround us, we have to find hope and allow it to help us to live in a world that is so unpredictable. Life is the same way. Most of us are afraid of the unknown and don’t know how to handle it. I am a Life Coach, but I am not an expert on how things should go in a person's life.  Only our Creator knows the outcome for us. We should just be willing to follow His guidance.  I wanted to end the year on a good note, so I decided to do a list sharing 12 insightful things about 2020.  I hope it can inspire you to keep ...

Thankful for the ability to Vote in American

Thankful for the ability to Vote in American   As we know there was a time when everyone was not able to have the ability and rights to vote. I personally am thankful for a lot of things this year, and knowing the laws changed so that I can have a voice is something that matters to me.    I do not want to let my ancestors down. They fought in a non violent way for me and I want to keep the legacy going.    Emotional you may not know how to feel, and it’s ok. During this time it can me very stressful because we just do not know who really has our best interest at heart.    Are we voting for the count, cause or both? Just think about what you want for the world to be like and hopefully it will turn out that way.    We have to be I control of our behavior in order for us to stay focus.    Don’t allow others opinions to get you off track. Stay true to who you are and what you stand for.    During this time we have to reframe f...
October   / Be Courageous (B.C.) Have you ever found yourself in a situation that you knew was just too much to handle? Well, I sure have. I am a survivor of what a lot of women just do not want to face in their life. In January of this year, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I knew I had to figure out a way to not allow this to overtake my life. The first thing I did was stayed focus on God and ask Him to direct my thoughts, path, and purpose. Once I got peace I was able to walk in His power and strength. So, I learned how to support the cause, but not the condition. I now look at the diagnosis in a different way. The imperfections from this were hard for me to reveal and share. I am walking in my truth about this now and I say, don’t allow tarnishing situations to stop you from shine through your storm. It will only try to block you from blessing others with it! Be Courageous (B.C.)” ~LWB Butterfly 🦋. Having courage is like our L.I.F.E. The more we live it the stronger we beco...

Contract for Black America

15 Amendment allows blacks to vote, but in the words of Ice Cube “What’s in it for us”?   That is something to really think about. Are we voting democratic just because that’s what we know we are supposed to do? Or is it really to help the black community? Now I know it’s about ALL people, but each community fights for their own first, and its time we do the same.    I am not saying don’t vote because our black community fought for that right and we got it based on the 15th amendment.    However, we have to be smart with our vote.    Check out this article regarding the black community voting and getting a signed contract, please share with me and let me know your thoughts.  Read the article below. Should we vote if we do not have a Black America contract? Black businesses have dropped 45 %, (almost half), Hopefully, that will help be your focus as you are answering these questions. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/ice-cube-dem...
